It comes from Ethiopian heirloom varieties grown at high elevation, typically between 1950 and 2150 meters above sea level, in red-loamy soils with annual rainfall of roughly 1200 to 1500 mm. Harvest runs from November through February, when producers selectively pick ripe cherries and deliver them to the station.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eThe supply base is a large smallholder network of more than 500 outgrowers farming a combined area of about 1250 hectares, which makes consistent intake standards, traceability, and careful processing especially important for quality and lot integrity.
