This coffee is a fully washed Ethiopian lot from the Oromia Region, sourced in the Guji Zone, Shakiso District, Tero Kebele, around 542 km from Addis Ababa. It comes from Ethiopian heirloom varieties grown at high elevation, typically between 1950 and 2150 meters above sea level, in red-loamy soils with annual rainfall of roughly 1200 to 1500 mm. Harvest runs from November through February, when producers selectively pick ripe cherries and deliver them to the station.

The supply base is a large smallholder network of more than 500 outgrowers farming a combined area of about 1250 hectares, which makes consistent intake standards, traceability, and careful processing especially important for quality and lot integrity. As a washed coffee, cherries are sorted on arrival, depulped, fermented to remove mucilage, thoroughly washed, and then dried until stable, a process that is widely associated with clarity and definition in the cup. In terms of profile, this coffee is expected to present a clean, bright, and refined character typical of washed coffees from Guji/Shakiso.
